Ann Arbor Launches A2 Summer Streets with Exciting Live Music Series and Weekly Street Closures
Ann Arbor, MI - June 6, 2024 – The Main Street Area Association in Ann Arbor is thrilled to announce the kick-off of A2 Summer Streets, a vibrant community event designed to celebrate the summer season with shopping, live music, outdoor dining, and a lively arts scene. Beginning on June 6, 2024, and continuing every Thursday at 4 PM through Sunday, the streets of Ann Arbor will come alive with the sounds of local musicians, creating a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
In addition to the live music series, A2 Summer Streets will feature weekly street closures, starting every Thursday at 4 PM and continuing all day Friday through Sunday. This initiative will transform our downtown area into a pedestrian-friendly zone, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the best our city has to offer. Each week, attendees can look forward to:
Live Music Series (Thursdays, 7 PM - 9 PM): Enjoy performances from talented local bands and artists. From jazz and blues to indie and rock, the diverse lineup ensures there’s something for everyone.
Outdoor Dining: Local restaurants will extend their dining areas onto the streets, offering a unique alfresco experience. Savor delicious meals and beverages while soaking in the summer ambiance.
