Ann Arbor, MI — Downtown Ann Arbor is set to burst into bloom May 9–11, 2025, with Bloom Fest 2025, a vibrant celebration of spring, small businesses, and community presented by Main Street Ann Arbor.
Taking place over Mother’s Day weekend, Bloom Fest is the perfect way to treat yourself—or the moms in your life—to a weekend full of charm, creativity, and connection. This three-day, walkable event invites locals and visitors alike to explore downtown through an interactive scavenger hunt and small business crawl, with exclusive offers, pop-up experiences, and spring-inspired fun at every turn.
From artisan workshops and limited-time discounts to birthday bashes and specialty spring flavors, participating businesses are going all out to make Bloom Fest a true celebration. Plus, participants can enter to win exciting prizes by completing one of the two options below:
Solve eight riddles the Bloom Fest Scavenger Hunt, where clues are hidden in storefronts across downtown.
Making three purchases at different participating Bloom Fest businesses and uploading proof via a QR-coded entry form.

“We’re thrilled to bring Bloom Fest back to downtown Ann Arbor,” said Ashley Schafer, Executive Director of Main Street Ann Arbor. “The event is a joyful way to experience our vibrant local businesses, discover new favorites, and kick off the spring season. This year, we’ve partnered with the Michigan Advertising & Marketing (MAM) student group to refresh the event and introduce a fun scavenger hunt, adding a playful twist to the celebration.”
Maps, clues, and entry details will be available at participating locations and online at mainstreetannarbor.org. Bloom Fest is free and open to all.
