TASTE of Ann Arbor 2026 Sells Out, Serving Up Community, Local Flavor & Sustainability

What an incredible day in downtown Ann Arbor! This year's TASTE of Ann Arbor exceeded all expectations. The community showed up in a big way, and we're excited to share that the event sold out, with more than 90,000 tasting tickets distributed through presales and day-of sales.

From the moment the event opened, downtown was filled with friends, families, visitors, and food lovers exploring local restaurants, discovering new favorites, and celebrating everything that makes Ann Arbor's culinary scene so special. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

This event is only possible because of the amazing support from our downtown businesses, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who attended. Building a More Sustainable Event

This year also marked another exciting milestone as we partnered with A2ZERO and the City of Ann Arbor to pilot a reusable serviceware initiative.

The response from both participating businesses and attendees was overwhelmingly positive. By replacing disposable tasting ware with reusable cups and dishes, we prevented more than 24,000 single-use items from entering the landfill.

This program would not have been possible without A2ZERO and the City of Ann Arbor, who provided the reusable serviceware and operational support at no cost to participating businesses. Their partnership continues to demonstrate how community events can be both fun and environmentally responsible.
