Rolling Sculpture Car Show Celebrates 30 Years of Automotive Art in Downtown Ann Arbor
The Main Street Area Association proudly celebrated the 30th Annual Rolling Sculpture Car Show as more than 200 exceptional vehicles lined the streets of downtown Ann Arbor for an unforgettable evening celebrating automotive craftsmanship, community, and tradition.
For three decades, Rolling Sculpture has brought together collectors, restorers, car clubs, families, and enthusiasts from across the region to share their passion for the automobile. From meticulously restored classics and vintage icons to modern exotics and custom builds, every vehicle told a unique story of dedication, innovation, and artistry.
One of the highlights of the evening was recognizing outstanding vehicles and individuals through a series of specialty awards presented by our generous sponsors:
Mechanic's Choice Award – Steve Steeb
Volunteer Award – The DeBoer Family
Bring a Trailer Award – Bring a Trailer
Skinned Knuckles Award
Twisted Wrench Award – Rennmann LLC
Sizzlin' Hot Award – Ruth's Chris Steak House
Nostrum High Performance Award – Nostrum High Performance, Inc.
Holy Shift Award – Destination Ann Arbor
As a special tribute to our 30th anniversary, every registered participant received a commemorative bumper sticker in addition to our traditional dash plaque. Designed to be proudly displayed on a daily driver, toolbox, or garage wall, the sticker serves as a lasting reminder of this milestone celebration and the community that has supported the event for three decades.
Rolling Sculpture is more than a car show—it's an annual gathering where friendships are renewed, restoration stories are shared, technical advice is exchanged, and appreciation for automotive design brings people of all ages together. Whether discussing recent modifications, swapping restoration tips, or simply admiring the incredible craftsmanship on display, the event continues to embody the passion and camaraderie that have made it a downtown Ann Arbor tradition.
The Main Street Area Association extends its sincere gratitude to every participant, volunteer, sponsor, and visitor who helped make this year's event such a success.
